Guitar Instruction: Beginning and Intermediate

Entry Level & Intermediate Lessons with an emphasis on Music Theory.  Learn at your own pace, in the direction YOU desire.  Each lesson is geared to meet YOUR expectations.

LEARN:

•  The Fret board


• Open neck (first position) Chords


• Barre Chords


• Voicing


• Scales (Chromatic, Blues, etc.)


• Keys & Key Scales: 1, 4, 5's & 2, 5, 1's, etc.


• Chord types & formulas


• Triads


• Accidentals: #'s (sharps) & b's (flats)


• Strumming & Picking styles  (PIMA)


• Styling & Color: Slide, Bend, Hammer-on & Pull-off

Work at your own pace, in the direction you desire, using what you already know and building on it.  There is a great amount of printed material included.  Since this is a Practice oriented lesson, you should have your own guitar, a tuner, and some picks.  Eventually, a Click box, or Metronome is a good idea as well.

Cost to Students: $30 per studio hour.
